Seit die ‹Black Cats› zum Aufstiegskandidaten avanciert sind, ist die Produktivität in Sunderland gestiegen.

Chairman Niall Quinn erzählte dem Mirror:

Ich weiss aus zuverlässiger Quelle, dass die Leute glücklicher sind und mehr arbeiten, wenn wir gewinnen. Wir spielen eine wichtige Rolle und freuen uns, dass die Menschen in der Region wieder an den Club glauben.

Ob man sich bei den Berner Young Boys bewusst ist, welchen Einfluss die Leistung des Teams auf die Wirtschaft hat? ;-)
